MEET THE MUSWELL HILLBILLY BEERS

Muswell Hillbilly Beers are all unique, distinctive and produced at our own brewery in small batches using locally sourced ingredients, including our own N10 hops. Try our refreshing IPA, orange and marmalade red ale, coffee infused breakfast stout, smokey whisky inspired porter or lemon and bergamot wheat saison. If you're fortunate you might even find our manage to get your hands on a limited edition N10 grapefruit pale, our Biere De La Mews Mango and Passion Fruit Pale or a seasonal HoHoHillbilly.

Our beers are available in 33ml bottles, 2- 3L Growlers (re-fillable in the Taproom), 30L/ 53 pint party casks (ideal for parties and events) or classic 40L/ 70 pint Firkin Casks (available for order by pubs/ clubs/ beer festivals). Muswell Hillbilly IPA
The Muswell Hillbilly is an India Pale Ale with a refreshing, smooth and light taste. Not as hoppy as many current IPAs the combination of US citra, cascade and local N10 hops give it a floral and tropical aroma, evoking passion fruit, lychee and gooseberry. Goes well with spicy foods.

Palace Sunset Red Ale

The Palace Sunset is a red ale with a deep amber colour and a red hue. The predominantly malty taste is of berries and caramel with notes of marmalade. Pairs well with red meats, English cheeses and sweet desserts.

Tetherdown Wheat Saison
Tetherdown wheat saison is a golden pale ale with fruity and citrus tones. The infusion of lemon and N10 bergamot give it a distinctive taste, reminiscent of many Belgium style ales. Food pairings include curry, cheese such as camembert and parmesan, salad, chicken and seafood.

Down the Colney Hatch Porter
Down the Colney Hatch is a dark beer made from brown malts, which turns red when you put it up to the light. Although well hopped it has a distinctive smokey taste from being infused with the wood from a whisky barrel. Goes well with English sausages.

Fortis Green Breakfast Stout

A beer for coffee lovers. Brewed with flaked oats and dark malts, it is infused with significant amounts of locally sourced Muswell Hill coffee. The perfect hair of the dog, this goes well with croissants.
